It’s been a wild ride this week, and I’ve been thinking about a few things that have really caught my attention. I thought I’d share them with you here. So here we go — the three things that have been on my mind:

  1. Stoicism“The obstacle is the way.” This quote from Ryan Holiday’s book “The Obstacle is the Way” has been stuck in my head all week. It’s a reminder that the things that seem like obstacles in our lives can actually be opportunities for growth and progress. Stoicism is all about accepting what we can’t change and focusing on what we can control. It’s a philosophy that’s helped me to stop stressing about things that are out of my control and focus on what I can do to make the best of a situation.
  2. Music — “Music is the shorthand of emotion.” This quote from Leo Tolstoy is a reminder of the power of music to evoke all sorts of emotions. Whether it’s a song that makes you want to dance, a piece that brings you to tears, or a tune that makes you feel nostalgic, music has the ability to take us on a journey through our emotions. This week, I’ve been listening to a lot of music and it’s been a great way to relax and unwind.
  3. Working Less — “Work smarter, not harder.” This quote from Albert Einstein is a reminder that sometimes, the key to achieving more is to work less. I’ve been thinking a lot about how to be more productive and efficient in my work, without sacrificing my personal life. I’ve been experimenting with different ways to work smarter, like setting specific goals, delegating tasks, and taking more frequent breaks. By working less, I’m finding that I’m actually getting more done and feeling more fulfilled.

Overall, this week has been all about finding balance, perspective, and growth. Stoicism, music, and working less have all been on my mind, and I’ve been trying to incorporate these things into my life in different ways. It’s been a great reminder that sometimes, the things that seem like obstacles can be opportunities for growth and progress. And remember, “Work smarter, not harder.”
